THE PROPERTY

Arrowhead Pass Vision

Our vision for Arrowhead Pass is to be a getaway place for family and friends who desire to spend time together out in God’s creation.

Father - Son Getaway

We encourage fathers to spend intentional time with their sons here at Arrowhead Pass. The property was designed by Stan Gutwein, his wife Andrea, and their five sons and daughter. Please contact us if you are interested in making Arrowhead Pass your getaway destination while you go through Family Life’s Passport 2 Purity or Passport 2 Identity program.

Timber Shelter

A recent addition to Arrowhead Pass! Under the timber shelter, you will find a large homemade hot tub, a dining area, a kitchenette island, a bench swing, as well as Argentinian-style grills.

Firepit Patio

Through the sliding glass door is a patio complete with an outdoor fire pit where guests can roast hot dogs, make s’mores, or just sit, relax, and watch the fire.

Private Beach

In front of the Lodge there is a sand beach where guests can play beach volleyball or where kids can run around on and build sand castles.

Outdoor Shower

Near the timber shelter is an area to rinse off before going in the hot tub or after swimming and playing in the sand.

Private Boutique Lake

The Lodge overlooks a private boutique lake (aka pond) that is in the shape of an arrowhead. It is great for swimming in the summer or ice skating in the winter (just make sure the ice is 5” thick or more!). There are two docks on the pond which are great for fishing.

Fishing

The lake is stocked with bluegill, redear sunfish, largemouth bass, and channel catfish who love hanging out in the deep “catfish hole” in the middle. The fathead minnows and frogs are great food for the other fish and the grass carp in the lake help keep the algae under control!

ATV Hill

Bordering the boutique lake is a huge mound of dirt with ATV trails and newly planted Ponderosa Pine and Colorado Spruce trees. Also there are ATV trails throughout the woods.

40 acre Woods

The forest is full of many varieties of trees including: quaking aspen, birch, sassafras, wild black cherry, maple, catalpa, white oak, red oak, pin oak, cedar, giant cottonwood, and mulberry trees. The woods is full of wild raspberries and wild rose bushes. Be careful not to get near the poison ivy!

Nature Trails

The Arrowhead Pass Lodge is situated amidst 40-acre woods where guests can go for a walk on the rugged trails and see God’s creation.

Forest Animals

Enjoy the wild animals that call Arrowhead Pass home. See the white-tailed deer, squirrels, cottontail rabbits, gray fox, raccoons, striped skunks, opossums, owls, a variety of birds, and the occasional wild turkey.
